Meditation Clause"
Everytime a stranger asks me to close my eyes, I keep my eyes open to see what they are up to.
Meditation is not for me.
But I think most people would have 45 minutes every day if they took that time away from social media or TV watching. |

The memories indeed are priceless especially those involved with my children over the years. I took the girl scouts to read to seniors in a nursing home. My own children and I used to do yard cleanup every fall for the elderly in our neighborhood. We had so much fun spending time at their homes, it didn't feel like effort at all.
Your last line in this entry applies to Megan, Neva, you and me, I believe we definitely are leaving positive influences on WDC's community. |

I used to take my girl scout troop once a week to read to residents at a nursing home. They were some of my best memories as a leader. The relationships were amazing. |

The Temple is breathtaking. Can you believe it's 350 square miles, so much to see and definitely not enough time to leisurely explore. |

Super Stew?"
But . . .
What's the difference between one being in the soup or in a stew? Is one thinner or thicker? How do writers use soup and stew? |

Yes, I can see how they are and can be so helpful in your line of work. Sometimes, the patient or the patient's family members can't get hold of a dr. or nurse and a volunteer usually can find them. I know this from personal experience. |

"Served in a pot? Maybe in your country."
Honestly, in the US I'd think soup would be served in a pot due to the quantity that ends up being consumed. |

I’m pleased you enjoyed my beautiful city SandraLynn. Kings Park is gorgeous at any time of the year, but in spring especially. Our spring starts in September so you’ll have to get back on that old treadly again. |

Sumojo lives there.
I burst right out laughing and my family gave me one of those raised eyebrow looks as I read your carbon nuetral activity. I'm with you about not liking a helmet, I want to feel the wind in my hair. |

Some of us don't have a home to come back to.
For me, home is Kansas 1972. But Kansas changed and so have I.

What a fabulous entry. You certainly got a real taste of the place and I’m pleased a croc didn’t get a taste of you! |

Wow, you could easily sell your house and travel for the rest of your life.
Kind of like me, I live in Los Vegas but we live in the southwest part of the city about 35 minutes with traffic from the strip where all the casinos are located. It's like a whole other planet. We go four times a year to see the botanical gardens at the Bellagio Hotel and that's it.
Vegas has been cooler the last several winters and had more rain than usual. |

Asking doctors for advice has its own pitfalls. Because there is no money in recommending a sensible nutrition pattern, they will say things like: Look it up online. |

Something's Gotta Give"
While in NZ we write our dates starting with the day, then month and finally the year, I'd not call other versions 'wrong'.
It is arrogant for any one to say their way is the only way to be right (and this applies to so much more than timestamping!)
I would pose that one's location and audience would be a good guage to what format is best, and since WDC itself uses the American style, that my choice when posting here.
Still, day month and year looks rather cute on you Tracker |
