      I found writing.com while I was browsing one dark rainy night, and it's one of the best things that has happened to me. I love to write and I love to read, so imagine my joy at finding a spot where I can do both.Thank you writing.com!And to the kind soul that sponsored me the upgrade, thank you so much, you're an angel.
      I am not a professional writer in the real sense. I love to write, though. And writing here at WBC makes that avocation truly fulfilling. I meet wonderful people, read exquisite literary pieces, learn from the experts, even join contests. What more can anyone ask for?
      Writing.Com is definitely like a second home to me but up until now, I couldn't think of anything good enough to say about how this place has helped me or been so good to my writings. Since joining in Nov. of '06, I've made many new friends that I wouldn't have otherwise met. I've gotten my work read and critiqued, which has helped me improve the quality of my writing in all aspects. I was able to come out more here than I can anywhere else because here, I'm not judged. This is my second home and a place I never want to leave.
      When I joined Writing.com Nov. 5, 2002, it was called "Stories.com" I kept a free membership for a few years, and didn't really do much with it. Then I started joining some of the groups. I upgraded my membership, and started building a substantial portfolio on the site. I've seen the site develop and grow, adding new features all the time. But, the most valuable benefit I've received is the interaction with members in the groups. We read and review each other's work (which has helped me to be a better writer); and we also just share our lives with one another, through the internet.
      Writing.Com is THE place to go! Here we give as we get! Experience the gift of others just like you. Write your passions in any form. Those of us who read it are gifted. Those of you who read it will find acceptance, peace, friendship, as well as help in writing. Great exposure to be sure.
      WDC is a great website... I was searching for a good place to publish whatever little articles and poems I write. I tried many Blog sites but they weren't read. It's then that I found out WDC. And I'm so happy that I recieved many reviews! Thank you, WDC
      A co-wroker recommended this site to me on or about the 14th of March ( 2008) and I've been active ever since! I've posted 2 stories and I've gotten so many encouraging reviews and met so many new firends! I used to write a lot when I was younger, but dealing with life in general and the "job that ate my brain" I'd stopped writing completely. But WDC has inspired me to dust of and re-write some of the old stuff I have and write new stories and prose! Much Love and Thank You WDC!
      I found Writing.Com while looking for something to read when I was bored at work one day. I was blown away - it was the kind of site I'd been looking for for ages. Within hours I had my own portfolio started. And since being here I've learned so much not only from the reviews I've received, but from being able to read everyone else's work as well. I love this place!
      Writing.com is such a big part of my life now, I can't imagine writing without it. Here people help each other with all aspects of writing with a genuine intrest and good nature. There are so many groups that exist within writing.com that it is next to impossible not to find someone you can relate with. I found this place completely by accident, but am so glad I have. I just hope that everyone has as pleasant of an experience here as I have so far.

      Writing.com I believe is the BEST of the best sites I have ever been on. I have only been on here for a few days and I fell in love with this site! I absolutly love how you can write as you please and within two minutes or less you get a comment. Comments are conctructive. I have gotten tips on improving my writing and how great it was. I also enjoy other's writng as well. I fell in love with people's short stories and their own poetry. This site really helps and I spend most of my time on this site either writing or reading. :)
      Writing.com has been a savior for me. It has allowed me to return to my passion of writing. It has also allowed me to network with other writers by reading and reviewing their works, as they read and review mine.
      I am a newbie to WRITING.COM, HELLO THERE! Just wanted to drop a note, and tell everyone how much I love the site. I am on several of the other poetry sites, and this one is soooo very different! So much to do! I feel like I am at the county fair, and each time I hit a balloon, I find a new prize! LOVE IT!
      For most of my life, I never thought of myself as a competent writer. The encouragement from great reviews and new pen pals on WDC has just blown my mind! Now I am able to enter writing contests and review other works with ease, something I never thought I'd be able to do!! I'd recommend WDC to anyone wanting to improve (or create) a life long talent in creative writing.

      I've only been a member of Writing.com since December 30, 2007. It isn't as long as the other members but I'm really happy here. I've read lots of great works by amazing writers. And this place is gradually helping me improve my writing. Among all the writing websites I've joined, Writing.com has got to be the most addicting! I've met lots of friends in here too. And I can say that Writing.com isn't your ordinary writing website at all... It's fun, inspiring and a site that helps aspiring writers like me (and you).       I came across WDC accidently while looking for a website to post my poetry as a backup in case my computer crashes. I found this site and I got so much more out of it then just being backup space. I have made so many new friends world wide, received so much help in my writing, and really have found a place where I finally feel I belong. Now, I'm WDC Addicted!

      I came across this great site while in detention, and boy did it pass the time! Not only did I get to read all kinds of writing, I got to upload my own work! Being a high schooler, it is hard to get people to read my stories and give me useful feedback. Now I can get that and more! I love being part of a group and making friends, trading story ideas, or just hanging out. Writing.com has changed my writing career for the better, and I am certainly thankful!

      I first came across writing.com about three years ago and found a community that was so encouraging, insightful, and inspiring that my writing skills have increased more than I could ever imagine. I've used other sites and none have ever been as easy to use or multi-functional. No other writing site encourages and helps to develop as many diverse types of creative writing as writing.com does. This is definitely the home of creativity, fun, and community.
