I found Writing.Com when I typed 'storywriting' into google. i clicked on it, and now im hooked. I go on everyday after school to type up my stories. thanks to everyone who reviewed my work, it helped me sooooo much. I LOVE WRITING.COM!!!!!!!
Writing has always been my escape, my therapy, and my savior. When I found Writing.com, it was like finding that elusive home that people are always searching for. Here, I have found friends, family, and support that I never knew existed. Writing.com has not only bettered me as a writer, but also as a person. Thank you, Writing.com, and all of your members!
In my lifetime, I've found nothing for enhancing, or exhilarating as writing. And so when one of my friends asked me to visit this website, I was thrilled. I continue to come and post my works, and enjoy reading the works of others too.
Writing is just something that gets me pumped up and is an easy way for me to describe and express how I feel. :]
I was searching for a good site to post my literary pieces in and I came across writing.com. Like others here, it has made me write more often and it has given me the chance to grow as a writer and practice this craft even more.
Well......WDC(Writing.com) is a great place for all writers concerned. I have been here for a while now and am still learning new things. Plus the community is very supportive in every possible way.They are always ready to give you a helping hand booming your writing ability to the upper limit.
It is said that writing heals your soul same as music and believe me they have proved this True. Thanks for making me trust in the words of the Heart not that i doubt it........

Writing.com is a great place to express emotions, thoughts, and ideas in any form of writing, which includes, but not limited to: poetry, story-telling, campfires, notes, essays, etc. Yes! There are so many things to do in Writing.com that it would, literally, take days, pages, and time to describe the entire beauty of its endless possibilities. The only thing I can say is to try it out for yourself because I can assure you, Writing.com will not disappoint.
The WDC community are incredibly welcoming, down-to-earth, fun and diverse. The site itself is very easy to use and navigate, and there are all sorts of gems! After joining, it wasn't long before people were commenting on my writing. I was suprised at how effective it was. Even the best of friends don't tell you quite what you want to hear, so feedback from these other writers is excellent for constructive, helpful comments. The contests are an excellent way of getting ideas flowing and getting your work seen, as well as having some fun, winning prizes and meeting people!
I must also touch on the chatroom. I have spoken to some of the nicest people in there, and whether the talk is on writing or not, it draws you further into the community. Even just for a quick (or not so quick) read of a range of fiction, WDC is a great place to drop by. I've read some incredibly touching short stories, as well as full chapters of novels in progress. I've already, and will continue to recommend WDC to fellow writers and readers alike! One final word on the motivation this site brings - THANKS!!
I joined writing.com about three years ago because my mom said it was a cool place to go and read stories. I didn't really think I would get sucked into the world of writing. But more and more I found myself wanting to write new stuff. The people here mde me realize that writing is what I want to do with my life. If it weren't for my friends here, I would be lost. Every day I learn something knew to help me with my writing, and without this place, I would still be the beginner I was three years ago who couldn't even finish a short story. Writing.com is the best!
Hi everyone! Today is my birthday! I'm two years old here on WDC and very proud to be part of such a wonderful workshop. I've met many fellow writers', gained new readers and made some good friends along the way. I learn so much from the review system between members/fellow writers. This type of interaction has taken my work to new levels. I'm more aware of what the mainstream reader expects and craves.

Recently, I started becoming interested in writing, and when I say that I mean, I learned how to write down what I felt. But I had no place to put it, so I was browsing online at an ungodly hour in the morning and found Writing.Com and it encouraged me to keep writing, no matter how discouraged I got. It also gave me the resource of other people that I didn't have before. I love Writing.Com.
I joined WDC a few months ago and it was the best thing I have ever done. I have made friends on here and they have encouraged me to be proud of my work and step outside of my comfort zone. These people are almost like my family! If you are considering joining this community at all, please don't hesitate- you won't regret it.
WDC is easily the best site available for writing submissions of all kinds, and they couldn't make the site any more user friendly! Almost all reviews for your work will be respectful with constructive criticism, and an inspirational message to WRITE ON! The members are helpful, there is so much to read and do, everything is catagorized spectacularly... I can't say enough about this wonderful, helpful, irresistible writing site. And I couldn't be happier to be a part of it.
Writing.Com works! Technology is my Achilles Heel. I looked for over a year to find a site that I could easily navigate, and receive feedback on my fiction. At WDC I found it, and so much more. The wealth of free information alone is worth the cost of membership, and the quality of writers who are willing to share their talents is amazing. There is something for everyone, at all skill levels. I thankful for my discovery and highly recommend Writing.Com.

I've been a member of WDC for almost a week now, and I love it! The site is packed full of everything you could possibly need to help with your masterpiece, or short story etc. I've already told my daughter about it, and she too is going to join. The people are all friendly and very helpful. I'm so glad I found it.

7 years ago, I was looking for a site where I can post my short stories, and I wanted them to be read by anyone, who might be interested to give any feedback that will help me improve my writing...
I found WDC in my search, which was previously known as Stories.com. I was starting to become active in the site, and I have experienced to receive feedbacks from fellow members. The site was having a lot of developments, and when I suddenly became passive, I knew that I have missed a lot.
Now that I am back, I am happily adjusting with the changes. The members are encouraging and supportive in their rates and reviews. There are also lots of cool and exciting activities here that encourage other members to participate.
I guess it is not yet too late for me to catch up with everything that had happened here in WDC. I'm really happy I have become a member of this wonderful and educational site, and I am continuously enjoying my stay here. I believe I will learn more while I am here in WDC. I just realized that I can't get enough of WDC, and everyday is WDC day!
WDC is one of my favorite websites. It's the only place I know of where you can post all of your writing, no matter what it is - poems, short stories, novels, and any genre, rating, etc. I love being able to show my work to the world while receiving helpful reviews, and reviewing other people is helpful too. Writing.com is one of the best writing websites out there!

A very dear friend invited me to writing.com about a year ago. I have found several good friendships and have enjoyed writing my poetry and short stories, for others to read. Writing.Com gave me a re-newed love for poetry and writing. I was battling depression when my friend, SWPoet, casually mentioned this site. She later suggested I give it a try. I argued that I was good at journaling, but I was not creative. She persisted, and I finally took a look. I got my feet wet with a few little poems, and was bitten by the WDC bug instantly! The encouraging reviewers made it impossible to resist writing more. Now it is the highlight of my day, and I am totally addicted. I've never seen such a comprehensive site, with so many ways to have fun with writing. And the reviewing is absolutely what makes the difference. I learn so much from the reviews I do as well as the ones I receive. The WDC people are the best!!!!!
All I can say about about writing.com is that its the most homely and very warming place to be. Everyone is full of encouragement and applause for ever writer here.
I have been here no longer than 3 weeks and I would gladly recommend it to beginner writers like myself. I never thought I was any good until I started recieving positive ratings on my poems. Its just undescribable the response from other members. YOU ALL ROCK!!!
I joined WDC last week and already feel at home. I was just lazying around, wasting my vacations but now i have something to look forward to everyday!! I am grateful to my friend for introducing me to this site but hate her for doing it so late(hehe).
I am simply addicted to WDC!!!The readers are so encouraging and so are the moderators.
I am so happy that WDC is a part of my life now.
